Built on safety

A commitment to protect at our core

Constant stewardship

We take our duty to protect and preserve seriously, from the cargo we transport, to the quality of our vessels, the well-being of crews, and the communities we serve. Every Fairwater employee shares in this joint responsibility to champion the integrity of each assignment, every step of the way. Our vessels not only follow the strictest safety standards but maintain or exceed compliance with all international conventions and codes and U.S. laws and all regulations. We also frequently audit our activities for environmental impact and continuously seek new ways to enhance the sustainability of our operations.

Our Goal is ZERO Incidents and Injuries

At Fairwater, safety is at the core of everything we do. Our goal is simple but vital: ZERO incidents and injuries—and we believe this goal is both realistic and attainable. Through a proactive, shared commitment to health, safety, and responsibility, we protect the people, planet, and physical assets under our care. A safe workplace is good business and so much more. It protects our people, ensures reliability for our customers, and allows us to perform critical duties with excellence. For the sake of our team, their families, and the communities we serve, Fairwater will never stop striving to achieve ZERO harm.

Shared Responsibility

  • Every member of our team—whether ashore or afloat—is empowered and expected to work responsibly, look out for one another, and take action when risks arise.

Prevention First

  • We focus on identifying and eliminating conditions that pose health or safety risks. If risks cannot be entirely eliminated, we implement specialized processes, protective equipment, and other measures to ensure safety.

Continuous Training

  • We provide our teams with the tools, knowledge, and resources to operate safely, effectively, and confidently.

Culture of Accountability

  • We foster an environment where safety is not just a policy—it’s a mindset. Everyone is trusted to recognize unsafe conditions, stop unsafe acts, and prioritize safety above all else.
